Jeremiah`s Tavern in Penfield

Love the bee sting and Cajun mixed wings.The wings can be hit or miss though. I've had perfect wings and I've had overcooked meh wings. Though I've had more times when the wings were perfect then meh. Awesome combo though and they always have a beer I love or want to try on tap. The service has always been great too!

Was going to hit up a drive through and decided to spend the exact same amount of money on a better quality meal for my lunch break. Staff was quick to get my order in even though it was very obvious their hands were full. I was able to be in and out with my take out order in 20 minutes! Love jeremiahs, usually I go to the one on Monroe ave. But the Penfield one is closer to home I am going to start going there!

Food was much improved from pre-closure and service was very friendly!

The variety and quality of food is amazing. Service is friendly and constant, but without excessive interruption. I go there about 2-3 times per week.Would have five stars, but I just finished my week's bookkeeping and the bartender charged me for the wrong type of drink on one line, and apparently let someone add drinks to my tab. This happened once before, but it was minor - this was a 40% difference. I won't be leaving a tab open there ever again if this isn't easily rectified, but they tend to be an upstanding place. I plan to call tomorrow and if they credit the error will edit it post accordingly.UPDATE: I had a chance to call today and the hostess likely helped me and then got me to Ed, the Manager. He, apologized, and was polite and professional and corrected the error by crediting the difference to me. card. Accountability and good service builds loyalty. I'll be back again soon.

We've been here for drinks in the past, but this was the first time for food. The wings were very good. Not only the sauces on the wings but the cook of the wings as well. They have a nice beer selection.

Love Jeremiah's Tavern. Big screens for the games, or fights depending on the season. The food is good, the atmosphere is good. The bartenders depending on who is bartending makes all the difference in the world. I prefer the older girls myself they are more accommodating. The younger staff are distracted by friends or possible friends. Love the outside fire pit and eating area during the warmer months.

I love going to Jeremiah's when I'm visiting Rochester. They have awesome wings, they're not the skimpy kind you find some places. I definitely recommend the pretzels as an app. I normally don't do cheese sauces, but I'm pretty sure I could just order a side of their beer cheese sauce and be happy. It's great for dipping fries in to. Most recently I had the Gracious Grace sandwich and it was delicious. I am pretty picky when it comes to chicken salad, and this one hits the mark. But I have never had a bad meal here, so try anything.

Food was good, but a little pricey.

We have ordered fromJeremiah’s a number of times during the stay at home phase of the quarantine.The meals have been delicious and always arrived timely. The menu has a lot of good choices making it hard to choose one over the others. So we can keep ordering until we try more of them. We like to support local businesses so we order from Jeremiah’s in Penfield.

I cannot prove it because I failed to bring home my reciept. However the server took the liberty of adding the tip onto my credit card after I so nicely gave him a cash tip. My $16 meal with a very nice $5 cash tip cost me an additional $4. I learned my lesson to always bring home the extra copies and not leave them behind. I'm super disappointed ☹️

First time was over summer with out of town guests and sat on patio great atmosphere. Service was good food good price greatSecond time was a couple weeks ago and sat inside and again great atmosphere food was awesome service was great and price great got there just before sunday football and crowd

Good variety of beers, sandwiches great and average prices. Sides are hit and miss. Liked the Poutine version, generous portion but gravey was a bit thick and felt store bought.

Ed was a great waiter!! We had a party 6 and service was great for a six pm dinner on a Sunday!

Table service and food very good!! Outdoor bartender was not wearing mask properly & kept pulling it down and customers at outdoor bar not practicing social distancing. Please follow rules & keep us safe!!

The beer selection is very good. The people nice. But the food is so so . If it weren't for the wings I would not bother.

The food and the service is always top notch here!! The tator tots are the best in the city!!

I recommend the schnitzel sandwich! The service was awesome, and so was the atmosphere. Definitely will be visiting there again!

Excellent chicken wings! Many other good meal choices. Large collection of beers on tap. What else can you ask for?

Food is alright and wing sauces are great but it seems like the wings themselves have gotten worse as time goes on.

Great waitress. Food was ok. Ordered loaded fries and they came with barely any cheese that my server noticed and sent them back.

Loved the atmosphere here. It was very busy at the bar area, but it wasnt hectic. Within a couple minutes of standing at the bar, we were served. The bartenders were amazing. We decided to sit in the bar area instead of a table. We weren't disappointed with the service! Great and friendly staff. Lots if craft beer on tap. Something for everyone! The plate was awesome, perfect hot sauce. Definitely a must stop!

Overpriced, wings are never cooked right. I have been here several times, keep giving it another shot. My wings, which they claim are the best in Rochester, are NEVER cooked right. Tonight they were extremely rubber and soggy even tho I ordered them well done, and let's be honest wings should just always be cooked crispy. The server even described them as interesting as she grabbed one to see what I meant. She had the kitchen make me another order, they still weren't very crispy but I settled And ate them. Will not be going back for a long time, which is unfortunate because they are close by and we don't have many sports bars near us.

Delicious food. I had the wings, pulled pork and brisket platter ( I think it was called Jimmy's Meat Platter), and everything was super. In my opinion, the best wings around, done the old Buffalo way. Nice and crispy. Great service too. As MacArthur said..I shall return!!

I just spent the last three days violently ill from food poisoning I got at this location. I know this for a fact, as my coworker who I ate with also experienced the exact same, disgusting weekend I just did. We both had salads. On a positive, I'm down 5 lbs since Friday.

Food is great, had the veggie burger. I've been to two of their locations and the veggie burger is actually different, both good in their own ways. The spicey sauce on the veggie burger is is awesome!

Go somewhere else. What wasn't greasy was cold or stale. I won't be going back.

Great food but the service was extremely slow and they could have used more servers. I understand that everyone wants to maximize tips by stretching themselves to the limit, but it should be at the cost of reasonably prompt service. My server was great but she was definitely over extended with no help from management.

Good spot to stop for a beer with friends. The bar tenders did a good job keeping us informed of what was still available and which kegs had just kicked.

We live and Penfield and have always loved Jeremiah’s until recently. The last four times we ate at the Penfield location, the food was not good. It seems that the portions have gotten smaller and the food has been cold and over cooked. Something seems to have changed and we have stopped going to Jeremiah’s.

Went there for a work party and we were in a private room that could seat about 20. We started with apps then had dinner. Service and food were great!

I've been to 2 different locations. Both have the same menu. Big menu lots of options. And you can get a drink! Social distancing is lame and so are the masks. Good food, booze, and staff. At 2 locations anyway. Henrietta and penfield got it going on.GO!

We love Jeremiah’s, but had a less than ideal experience recently. We ordered food on a Sunday, which they list as open. Surely with it being a chain restaurant and well established with other COVID protocol we assumed it was correct. We placed our food order on Grubhub and waited an hour for it to be done, as it said it was being prepared. About an hour and 15 minutes into the order I get a notification that our order was canceled. We were STARVING. Also, we had guests that were only here for limited time. I tried calling multiple times with no answer (an issue I’ve had before even when they were 100% open). Finally we drove there only to find the restaurant completely closed. I was very disappointed in this experience, as we were raving of the great food. Please update your hours!!!

BEST WINGS Ever. A bit inconsistent at times with fries and soup. But always willing to fix it. Great wait staff and service is always good. 4 stars due to the inconsistency with the food. Otherwise a great place to ciao.

Great food, amazing staff! We did my birthday here, and a fair number of people decided to come last minute. The waitress we had was still able to handle things with no troubles - even though we exceeded the party room capacity.

Definitely will not be back. Wings were overcooked to the point the meat was dry, Ranch dressing was spilled all over my Togo bag, and mac salad had zero flavor. 3rd time in a row I have tried take out from this place, and 3rd time it was terrible.

This has become my favorite quarantine food option. Their wings are consistently top-notch. I ordered their chimichanga last night and I've been daydreaming about it all day today, it was seriously that good. They have one of the best trash plates in Rochester too. I used to look at this place as somewhere to go and play darts and maybe order some wings, I didn't know the food was this good.

I really used to like the place but the last couple times I've visited the food quality has diminished and the service is not as friendly. What once used to be a go to place is no longer a preference. The food quality used to match its price but now Its really not worth it.
